A lovely 1950's table lamp in golden brass with a brown metal shade perforated with little stars. The base is in golden brass and is shaped as an ashtray.
Just after the end of World War II, the 1950s have lived major revolutions of styles and shapes in design. New industrial technologies such as moulding and the use of new materials like steel and aluminium have deeply marked this rebuilding period. In the 1950s, the greatest names in design have been revealed (Le Corbusier, Charlotte Perriand, Charles and Ray Eames, Joseph-André Motte…) and still remain the main references nowadays.
