"Pop" colors on this pair of yellow and purple chairs from the 1950's with tubular black lacquered legs.
Just after the end of World War II, the 1950s have lived major revolutions of styles and shapes in design. New industrial technologies such as moulding and the use of new materials like steel and aluminium have deeply marked this rebuilding period. In the 1950s, the greatest names in design have been revealed (Le Corbusier, Charlotte Perriand, Charles and Ray Eames, Joseph-André Motte…) and still remain the main references nowadays.
