This 1970's coffee table is the ultimate union between style and substance : the lightness and the refined design of the glass top and the chromed metal frame will complete perfectly your living room while keeping a high functionality thanks to its three mobile shelves in white laminate.
Laminate was created in 1913 by two American engineers looking for a new insulating material. Architects and designers took an interest in it in the 1930's but it's only after World War II that laminate became really popular, thanks to its many colours and its reasonable cost. Its qualities of durability, robustness and easy cleaning have appealed to the greatest designers like Charlotte Perriand, Pierre Paulin, Pierre Guariche or Georges Frydman.
